THE BRISBANE GOTHIC; DECEMBER 22nd, 2010

The Brisbane performance of the Gothic symphony was a triumphant achievement, with a standing ovation for all of the performers; something

thatvisibly moved conductor John Curro at the conclusion of the performance. The HBS wishes to offer its sincere thanks to the organisers of the

event for all of its efforts on Havergal Brian's behalf, and for the sheer hard work involved in mounting only the fifth public performance of this

wonderful work, and only the sixth ever.
